Dead Beat Bidders- Please Read Closed (#13937767)

At Friday’s estate pick up, I only had 68% of the buyers pick up. 

This has got to stop!

I know you understand what “Don’t Bid if You Cant Pickup” means. If not, please call me and I will explain it to you.

You may think,  “Oh well, it was only a couple dollars. I don’t really want to go get that item.” In reality, not only did you steal money from me but you also made me look bad to my customers who were trusting me to liquidate their items. This has become a problem that needs to be stopped. 

When you bid on an item, you are entering into a contract that you will carry out and pay. It is a very sad state that you won’t carry out your commitment to pick-up and pay. 

 I'm giving you fair warning. I'm not going to babysit you any more. Every winning bidder gets an invoice with the address, time and other perinate information on it. If you don't show up for a pick-up, you will not be allowed to bid in subsequent auctions. You also cannot rely on us to get your item for you. If you don’t show up, you are forfeiting your item but still responsible for your bid amount. 

 Please have some common courtesy and respect for yourself as well as me.

 If for some reason, you can not make it, please call me. You can pay for your winning items to stay in good standing with us. You will not be blocked from bidding. Please also do not think “This does not apply to me because I am friends with Glenn.” This is a business decision to keep my online auctions running effectively.
